Use the Moneyclaim website to start the claim process, simply fill in the form, it’s that simple. The fee’s are between £30 and £120, depending on the size of your claim. Charges can be paid on card and are refunded if you win your case.
Once your form is submitted and the case is accepted your bank have 14 days to acknowledge. If they don’t you can ask for a judgement without a hearing requesting they settle the full amount.
After you’ve submitted the claim, everything else depends upon the bank’s reaction. Your claim takes 5 days to be serviced and the clock starts ticking from there.
Possible routes from here:
Very few cases get this far, but don’t worry if they do, its a negotiation remember. They’re trying for a smaller settlement typically so don’t be bullied.
At this point, the court process takes over and you need to fill in a questionnaire regarding the scenario. The next stage is a hearing date but typically the banks will settle before this. If your case actually gets heard, then speak to an advisor or solicitor. It’s best to get some qualified advice at this point but you are still a favourite to win.

Hello,
I am interested in claiming back lost monies from Barclays bank. My account had switched over from Woolwhich to Barclays without me signing anything, and since I have been charged about $500 since last Autumn for reasons I am totally oblivious to.
I definately feel cheated and have sent them my threats of legal action.
I am now interested in claiming this money back, especially as they have overrided my atempts to stop outgoing direct debits.
Please contact me with information and prices for claming this money back, thank you.
N LARNER.
